Timeshare Scams in Florida Getting Busted

And its about time! Like mushrooms popping up after a summer rain, timeshare scams have been popping up all over Florida over the last few years. As the complaints (thousands of them) began to mount up, the authorities began catching up with them as they moved around places like Palm Beach County while changing their company names. The latest headline comes from Delray Beach Florida where a former employee of Creative Vacation Solutions aka Universal Marketing Solutions plead guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. This company has scammed timeshare owners out of an estimated $30 million from all 50 states.

This type of telemarketing scam should have been seen for what it was worth by the victims. But, when someone is desperate to unload their timeshare they can be convinced by scam artists’ pitch. The pitch? “We have your timeshare sold for you. We have a buyer for it ready to close. All you have to do is send us anywhere from $1,800 to over $3,000 to get the title work done and you will get your proceeds when it closes!”  The problem was that they never had a buyer, never sold a timeshare, put the money in the bank and went to the next victim.

So who is actually selling timeshares on the timeshare resale market? It is a well documented fact that the timeshare staff of RPMLS.com has facilitated the sale of over $100 million in timeshares and closed timeshare sales in all the states and dozens of foreign countries!

When you get ready to sell your timeshare use the trusted source for closed timeshare sales: RPMLS.com.
