Fairmont timeshare owner and just got through with the big seminar on how great it is going to be with RCI. II is loosing ground fast they said. The cost for me to change to RCI points is only going to cost me $10,000.00 to convert my two Liesure bi-annuals. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That is more than i paid for my timeshare to start with. This sounds like a CASH CALL to me. I wonder how much they had to pay RCI? If all 20,000 owners paid $10,000.00 they would bring in $200,000,000.00 (200 million dollars). That would pretty much fix their problems. They must stay as a dual resort (both RCI & II) so i would imagine it is the same with the other resorts that are switching to RCI. They said II was loosing one resort a day to RCI and that is the reason the II catalog is getting thinner. My catalog keeps getting thicker. NOT CHANGING!!! They will not get any more of my money. DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY, AND QUITE SHAMEFUL.

Another group leaving II for RCI. Recently it seems to be the trend. Seems like more Resorts are leaving RCI for II than the other way around.
