Many workers at the Cliffs at Long Creek and Paradise Point, both Bluegreen Resorts, have been left homeless by the recent F5 tornado. Since these two resorts are located close to Joplin their staff have been severely affected. From DailyMarkets.com are some of the details, “Many of our owners, guests, vendors and suppliers live in Joplin,” explains Becca VonderMehden, Assistant Resort Manager at Bluegreen Wilderness Club at Big Cedar(R). “They have lost nearly everything-their homes, automobiles, possessions, jobs and businesses. Thousands of innocent victims are now homeless and in need of life’s necessities like water, food, toiletries, flashlights, tools, money and more.”
The Bluegreen Corp and the timeshare resorts in Branson and Ridgedale have established collection points where all associates, neighbors, and businesses can help those truly in need.
The Bluegreen Corporate also donated the funds raised in their monthly raffle to the American Red Cross.
