From NewOrleansOnline.com: “In addition to world famous performers like Elton John and Lady Gaga, some of the most prominent names in modern jazz and funk will represent New Orleans at Jazz Fest this year, including trumpeters Terence Blanchard and Nicholas Payton, Trombone Shorty, and Dumpstaphunk. Nola’s legendary brass bands will also be performing, including Rebirth Brass Band on Sunday, April 26th, and The Dirty Dozen on Friday, May 1st.”
And the cost? Cost: $58 for advance adult,
$70 at the gate, $5 Child tickets (available at the gate only, ages 2-10)
I just have to mention the headliners for the Jazz Festival. This is a great lineup!
- Elton John
- The Who
- Jimmy Buffet
- Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga
- No Doubt
- Keith Urban
- John Legend
- Ed Sheeran
- Widespread Panic
- Jerry Lee Lewis
- Ryan Adams
- Jimmy Cliff
- Buddy Guy
- Galactic Featuring Macy Gray
This is a great variety of music genre for a Jazz Fest. So they will attract a huge audience.
When making your decision on where to stay when you go to New Orleans, you have to ask yourself this question, “Do I ever want to sleep while I am in New Orleans?” If the answer is YES, then don’t stay on Bourbon Street or in the French Quarter. It will be too noisy. Really noisy – all night.
So then where are the timeshares available to rent, buy for cheap, or exchange for in the Crescent City?
