As Marriott Vacation Club continues to grow, they just added the Edgewater Hotel in South Beach, Florida to their inventory. The hotel built in the 1930’s will be undergoing a facelift after being purchased for $23.5 million. It offers 49 suites and will add a key spot for Marriott’s vacation choices for their Vacation Club members.
The new name for the resort will be Marriott Vacation Club South Beach. It is located not only close the the beach but it is a mile from the Miami Beach Convention Center and within a mile of Lincoln Road’s shops and dining.
And according to the CEO of Marriott Vacations Worldwide, “This dynamic new destination will also result in the establishment of another new sales gallery, continuing our strategy of growing our sales distribution centers.” In other words, Marriott will have a sales center established there.
Marriott’s Villas at Doral, Marriott’s Ocean Pointe, and Marriotts Beach Place Towers are already well known in the area for their amenities, quality, and attention to their guests. The new Marriott’s Vacation Club South Beach will be a superb addition to the Marriott family of timeshare resorts.
