There is such a variety of things to do in Las Vegas. I’m sure you are familar with the familiar ones: the shows, the casinos, the sight seeing. What about race cars and roller coasters?
Las Vegas is home to some of the most scream infested good times in the good old US of A.
Take for example the The SkyJump at the Stratosphere. At 108 stories, it’s the highest controlled free fall in the world. It really is the best way to see the city – hurtling toward earth at a ridiculous speed. While you are at the Stratosphere you’ve just got to take a ride on the X-Scream. X-Scream is the world’s third highest amusement ride. It’s almost 900 feet above the street. And by the way, the roller coaster stops about 37 feet past the edge of the building to make you feel like the roller coaster car is about to plummet.
Are you ready for some real speed? Try the Richard Petty Rookie Driving Experience at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. You will be on the track at speeds of up to 155 MPH. Las Vegas Motor Speedway, located approximately 15 miles from “The Strip” in Las Vegas, NV, is a 1.5 mile tri-oval. It hosts a number of racing series including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series. There you can also choose IndyCars, or American Muscle Cars.
Just in case your adrenaline isn’t pumping yet try the new Slotzilla zip line right through the heart of the Fremont Street Experience. Buffalo Bill’s in Primm is home to Desperados’ Turbo Drop – a 255-foot nosedive scream inducing thrill. Boulder City’s Bootleg Canyon Flightlines gets you up to 50 mph on a fast sight seeing tour from a zip line.
Where to stay for all this fun?
